Real estate firm buys 2 brokerages

Palm Beach Gardens-based Illustrated Properties Real Estate Inc. has acquired two other brokerages, a move the company predicts will boost its sales to more than $2 billion in 2005. Last year, Illustrated said it sold $1.7 billion worth of homes. Illustrated acquired PGA National Realty Co. and Old Port Cove Corp. PGA National Realty handles about 70 percent of the sales at PGA National, a 5,000-home golf course community in Palm Beach Gardens. Old Port Cove serves northern Palm Beach County and Martin County. Terms were not disclosed.
