Illustrated Properties, an independent real estate company in Palm Beach County, recently celebrated the firm's record year in sales at their annual awards breakfast held at the Ibis Golf and Country Club. The event, Which honors Illustrated's top producers, also raised $18,000 for Tsunami relief.

The awards breakfast traditinally sends agents home with give-away goodies to thank them for a year well done. This year, the firm decided that 2004's record-breaking sales called for a record-breaking gesture.

"We thought that instead of purchasing the give-aways for everyone, we would instead put the money towards a donation for Tsunami relief," said F.F. Chappy Adams, president of Illustrated Properties. "The initial donation sparked the idea for turning the breakfast into a bigger opportunity where our associates could really make an impact."

The 300 agents who attended the breakfast were given donation cards. =Within a few shourt hours, the cards were tallied and the event raised $18,000 for AmeriCares' Tsunami Relief Fund.

The breakfast also applauded agents that sold the highest volume in 2004/ John O'Mahony of the Three Palms office in Jupiter and Carol Sollak of the Wellington office received a tie for "Top Company Producer." Dolly Peters and Michael Peters, mother an dson team from the PGA office took home the "Top Team" award.

"I am delighted with the donation but not surprised," said Adams. "Illustrated's agents continue to raise the bar for real estate in South Florida and that enthusiasm doesn't fall short when it comes to being good corporate citizens."
